DMP stands for Digital Media Packet which is used to convey information about the contents of digital files such as pictures, 3D models, animations and videos. - DM Profile Builder will help you create your own custom profile or use one that has already been created. By using this plugin you can then upload this profile to any tool that supports DMP so you can open it with this software instead of having to deal with multiple applications saving time and effort. - Once your design has been completed, the plugin will help export it into any format possible by providing preset templates including . dmb, .dmp, .dmi, .dmx and .dmpx. - If you are planning on sharing the design with others the plugin comes with a built in upload button for Sketchup. The plugin also includes a preview window which allows you to view the exported profile in real time. - When users then access your profile using this or another software that supports DMP they will be able to view the design by clicking on the link included with your profile. If they would like they can also download it for themselves which saves them having to install it or reimport any previous files when they want to edit it again. - Once a profile has been uploaded to Sketchup it is possible to embed the file link inside the info of a model which would allow interested users to view it at any time. This can be done manually or automatically from within Sketchup. - The plugin also comes with bundled templates for Photoshop CS4, CS5 and CS6. Users can import them into their tool and use them as a guide while creating a DMP profile.
